Since the team has been around as long as Jadilebovski has been walking the earth the team motto dates back to 1652.

It is Latin and roughly translates to:

“Quick, run for cover, let the women defend themselves”

The lone deer on the team crest represents the deserted women while the green around the knights helmet depicts the men hiding in the nearby shrubbery.

The Crossler proves he is "the real deal"

Newmarket (Reuters) - Comstock kept their Division 3 championship dreams on track with a 3-0 win at home to The Storm at Bonshaw on Wednesday to draw level with Bradford while maintaining a game in hand.

The Crossler , Roy Howell and Max Popov scored the goals to lift Jon Sanderson's side.

The win was their 2nd against the Storm this week as they defeated them 1-0 on Monday night. Backed by a capacity crowd of 3ish, Comstock had made an energetic start to the match and pressed forward at every opportunity in the opening stages.

In the 70th minute a tremendous diving header by The Crossler of a Jeff Rogers cross put Comstock ahead 1-0. There were 2 more goals scored of little significance to and pailed in comparison to The Crossler's.

 

Comstock Revitalized 2007 Squad
 2007 is off to a great start recording 3 points in its first game, coach Crossley has the lads finely tuned after a rebuilding seasons in 2003,2004,2005 & 2006.  Couple of new bodies to "tweak" the squad and 2007 has potential for greatness. "Comstock" is Macedonian for "under achiever".
